Sale 96

Lot 1292

1845-D. PCGS graded AU-53. Mostly untoned. This is tough issue to find this nice and is even more challenging to locate any finer. Most of the 200 or so known fall into the VF or XF grades while the finest are in the mid AU range to various Mint State grades. Always popular as these branch mint issues tend to be scarce and a collection of various dates from this Mint would certainly make for a handsome display. Only 90,629 struck. Pop 33; 78 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 8224) Estimate Value $2,500 - 2,700

Realized $2,938
