Rouble 1758 C??-TI-HK. Bit 288, Diakov 504 (R1), Sev 1701 (S). Although unnoted in the major references, on some coins of this year-mintmaster combination, the first letter more resembles the letter "?" than "H". The previous initials for this year were ?I, so it is likely the HK was engraved over that in the dies. On this example, though, the first letter is still clearly "?", the left side components curving. Lustrous. About uncirculated. Estimate $5,000UP
