Antique Early 17th Century English Broadsword. Antique English broadsword ca. 1620-1660, known as a form of "Mortuary" hilt. Straight double-edged glade with maker's mark on one side of ricasso/forte, steel hilt including quillon, pierced guard, knuckle-guard with additional bars, globular pommel, fine twisted wire grip with "Turk's Head" ferrules. No scabbard. Blade 30½" overall length 36" Note: one screw missing at pommel. $1,500 - 3,000
