Striking Gold Ring Featuring Lapis Lazuli Sassanian Stamp. Sassanian circular stamp seal fashioned of lapis lazuli engraved with the image of a galloping stag with large, impressive antlers. Seal, circa 200-400 C.E. Seal is set in a 24 kt. gold ring hand forged from a single 24 kt. ingot. A thin 14 kt. gold sheet and two tiny retaining rings were joined to the inside for durability.
