Fine Collection of 4 First Period Dr. Wall Worcester Porcelain Cups and Saucers & 1 Lidded Butter Pot ca. 1770s. Fine collection of 18th Century Worcester porcelain. In the offer are two tea bowls and saucers, two demitasse cups and saucers, and one lidded pot. The two tea bowls and saucers, the blue and white boasts lovely floral designs and insects with square marks under glaze. The other in bold orange-reds with gilt cross hatching with fan designs and delicate flowers, unmarked. Both in superior condition. The scale blue demitasse cup with matching saucer boasts exotic birds and insects both with fretted square marks under glaze. The fourth set is a bit of a cheat with the same bird and insect design but the saucer is of a slightly different pattern (no birds, scalloped edge saucer, but visually very close. Finally a lidded butter pot in very fine condition with delicate purple flowers and bold cobalt and gilt detailing trim and bold floral knob on lid, with the "W" mark on base and evidently scarce. No chips, cracks or repairs. $400 - 600
