Rare First Period Worcester ca. 1760 Teapot and 3 Shallow Bowls with Exotic Birds and Insects. Rare 18th century Worcester porcelain pieces decorated in the style of James Giles with exotic birds in central cartouches to the front shouldered with insects against a royal blue ground with gilt borders and square mark under glaze. Highly prized pattern and hard to find. First a teapot 5 x 5½ x 5½" with lid and bud knob intact. Also two scalloped edged plates 7½ x 7½" and one shallow bowl 7½ x 7½". No cracks, chips or repairs. Only a hint of light scratches, barely visible in blue scale portions. $700 - 1,000
