Rare, Museum Quality Worcester Queen's Pattern, ca. 1775, 17 Piece Tea Set. Museum quality, 18th Century Worcester tea set in the exquisite "Queen's" pattern. This exceptionally setting includes a teapot 4½ x 5 x 5", lidded milk jug 5 x 3 x 3", sucrier (sugar bowl) 4½ x 4¼ x 4¼" waste bowl 3¼ x 6½ x 6½", two plates/stands 7", a spoon tray 3½ x 6", small biscuit tray 5 x 5", tea caddy with lid 6 x 2½ 2½" and 5 vertically fluted tea bowls 1½ x 3" and 3 saucers 4½". Finely decorated with the strikingly colorful Worcester Japan pattern adapted by the 18th century Dr. Wall, first period design team from a Japanese Kakiemon original in alternating gros bleu panels, with square seal marks under glaze. All are in superior condition no cracks, chips repairs, with florets on lids intact. Highly prized and a rare find. $3,500
