Vigyázó, Lázló. A Partra (To Shore). Hungarian (1945-) painter of many genres, but well regarded for his landscapes and maritime works. Vigyázó has been steadily painting since 1978 but is also a professional musician Here a wonderful oil on wood panel, where a Dutch aristocrat and child are being rowed to shore in choppy seas. Panel measures 12¼ x 16" and framed to 21¾ x 25½" in a heavy gilt wood frame. In excellent condition and a very handsome piece. $600 - 800
