1823/2 N-1 R2 Overdate 3 over 2 VF35. Sharpness close to AU50 but there are a half dozen fine pin scratches on the reverse, mostly across CENT into the legends to the right. Otherwise there are only minor contact marks on both sides and a spot of very fine corrosion on the top of the F in OF. Lightly cleaned long ago and very nicely retoned frosty medium chocolate brown and steel. Luster covers the protected areas on both sides. Sharply struck EDS before any trace of crumbling in the dentils between stars 2 & 3. The overdate feature is obvious. Estimated Value $1,500-UP
