1807/6 S-272 R4+ Overdate Small 7 over 6 Fair-2. A rather glossy but uneven mix of light chocolate brown and dark olive tones. No corrosion or verdigris, but there are some light scratches on both sides, especially in the center of the obverse. In spite of the heavy wear the date is mostly strong and the Small 7 Over 6 feature is obvious to the unaided eye. An acceptable example of this rare and very popular "Redbook" variety.
