Antique Exotic and Grand Amber Beaded Necklace. Very early and rare, large and important amber beaded necklace strung on an early twisted cord, with the 26 large, caramel brown beads alternating with very old, tough, protective leather separators. The central eleven large, golden yellow amber beads are strung on two old braided cords tied to each end of the cord of the darker 26 beads. The opposite ends of the braided cord loop through the large central golden yellow amber bead enclosing it in a knot of Heracles. Necklace 24" long. North Africa or Central to Himalayan Asia, 18th-19th century. Estimated Value $2,500 - 3,500
