Bush, George W. and Vladimir Putin. Signed photo ("George Bush" and "V. Putin", the latter signed in Russian), in ink, color, 14½ x 10¾", n.p., n.d. In a photo titled "9-11 A Tribute", the two presidents stand side by side following a press conference at Crawford High School in Crawford, Texas, on November 15, 2001, at which they discussed their meeting at the Bush family ranch. The signatures are clear, the overall condition excellent.
This handsome photograph memorializes a three-day summit meeting at which the two world leaders appeared to establish a remarkably amicable relationship, even if they didn't quite agree on a strategy for amending the 1972 Antiballistic Missile Treaty, as was the stated aim of the summit.
