Greco-Romano Bronze Zeus Applique, ca. 1st Century AD. A very large interesting large bronze applique with the beautiful head of Medusa with wings atop her head and snakes for hair; within a circle and surrounded by flames. Appliques with Medusa were attached to buildings as an amulet to protect from evil spirits. Uncleaned and in Fine condition. Measures:;Weighs: Estimated Value $500 - 600
