Malcom X (1925-1965). American Muslim born Malcolm Little who proved himself a significant and courageous advocate for the rights of blacks and did not shirk from his indictment of whites for their actions throughout history. He joined the Nation of Islam in his 20s, but left the organization in 1964 after becoming disillusioned with its leader, Elijah Muhammed. In 1965, he was assassinated by three Nation of Islam members.

Here, a cut signature boldly signed ("Malcolm X") in blue pen on a cream colored note card measuring 2 x 4". A notation at the upper right corner indicates that the autograph was obtained on May 1, 1962 in New York City. Scarce. Estimated Value $600 - 800

Realized $1,438
