Elegant Silver Tray With High Relief. Exquistely detailed tray in coin silver (stamped 900 apparently an English maker's mark B U inside lunette, likely early 20th Century). Using various techniques of repousse, chasing and casting, this oval tray fashioned in a an unsual undulating or rippling effect is decorated with grapes, leaves, tendrils and stems in remarkable high relief. Minimum evidence of wear with very light hair line scratches that in no way detract from the craftsmanship and elegance. Measures 19 x 14½", a wonderful serving centerpiece for any table. 45 ozt.
