Roosevelt, Franklin Delano (1882-1945). 32 vintage original newswire photos from the mid 1930s through mid 1940s of or relating to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States. Newswire photos include Roosevelt as a child, young adult, Secretary of Navy, Governor of New York and very impressive newswire photos from various inaugurations, the Yalta Conference, official portraits, photos with Eleanor Roosevelt and finally his funeral. Most are 8 x 10" with wire service information and slugs affixed to verso, and overall in very fine condition showing slight wear. Also included are 17 vintage re-strikes from the 40s-50s most from Seidman Photo Services, New York City and consist of formal portraits, Yalta, speeches and his funeral.
