Reagan, Ronald and Pope John Paul II. Taupe linen finished note paper, 5½ x 4½", inscribed, dated, and signed "To Bill Jackson / Warmest Friendship / Ronald Reagan / Sept. 10 - 1987", as President, in black felt tip pen. Just below Reagan's signature, Pope John Paul II (1920-2005) has signed ("Joannas Paulus II"), very likely during their meeting in Miami. Pope John Paul II was only the second Pope to visit the United States. Excellent.
