Beautiful vintage original circus poster from 1940 and the Hamid Family who have enjoyed over 75 years in the business of circuses and in that for 50 years as the producers of the Shrine Circus. Offered is a beautiful illustration of trained elephants with a performer, a co-production of the circus company with Clyde Beatty's wild animals. Poster originally had writing on verso and separations at fold lines. But with professional restoration, discreet touchup to fold lines and archival mounting on linen, poster presents beautifully and ready for framing. Absolutely no evidence of fading, the colors playful and bright. 28 x 42½". Estimated Value $600 - 900
