Photograph of Abraham Lincoln Signed by 5 Republican Presidents. Large black & white copy derived from an ambrotype print of Lincoln taken at Roderick M. Cole's Ambrotype and Photographic Studio in Peoria, Illinois in 1858, during the famed Lincoln Douglas debate. About the likeness, Lincoln commented, "I cannot see why all you artists want a likenes of me unless it is because I am the homeliest man in the state of Illinois." This portrait of the first Republican ever to be elected President is signed by the last five Republican presidents of the U.S., including: "Ronald Reagan / Aug. 1 1987" as President, "Gerald R. Ford", "Richard Nixon / 11-1-90", "Best wishes / George W. Bush", and "George H.W. Bush". In fine condition.
