Bizard, Suzanne. Lévriers. (1873-1963) French sculptor who primarily worked in bronze and marble and widely admired. Offered here is a wonderful and stately pair of greyhounds, very much a favorite subject of hers. Beautiful patinated bronze finish on the dogs mounted on bronze base. 16 x 22 x 9" and signed on right side of base as S. Bizard. Total weight just at 28 pounds and in fine condition.
