Ebbets Field/Brooklyn Dodgers Collection. Ebbets Field home, to The Brooklyn Dodgers and the site of some of baseball's greatest legends. In the offer are four pieces celebrating the stadium at 55 Sullivan Place in Flatbush. First a limited edition signed and numbered print by Bill Levers with a section of brick from the stadium affixed to plexi-glass. 24 x 25" and in excellent condition with only minor scattered scuff on frame. Next an oversized and remarkably clear black and white photo of the Brooklyn Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds taken August 26, 1939 which marked the first ever televised baseball game which was broadcast on NBC at Ebbets Field. Actual photo 11 x 13½ framed and matted to 20 x 19" with details of photo revealed in mat.Excellent. Next a reprint of legendary sports illustrator of the Boston Globe and his tribute to the great legends of the Brooklyn Dodgers, some hilarious historic moments, and Ebbets Field. Absolute must for any fan measuring 16 x 22" and in excellent condition. And finally an encased sample, the actual DNA of Ebbets Field, turf taken from the stadium and mounted on a faux marble plaque with engraved brass plate Ebbets Field 1913-1957.
