Historic collection of 26 team signatures by the legendary Brooklyn Dodgers on a first flight commemorative cover celebrating airmail service from Corpus Christie, Texas including the following 7 Hall of Famers: Casey Stengel, Max Carey, Waite Hoyt, Dazzy Vance, Al Lopez, George Kelly (signed Geo Kelly), and Hack Wilson. Also included are Watty Clark (signed Watson Clark), Fred Heimach, Cy Moore, Van Mungo, Ray Phelps, Jack Quinn, Sloppy Thurston (signed Hollis Thurston), Val Picinich, Clyde Sukeforth, Tony Cuccinello (signed Chick Cuccinello), Joe Stripp, Glen Wright, Lefty O'Doul, Max Rosenfeld (signed Rosie Rosenfeld), Danny Taylor (signed "Dice" Taylor), Fresco Thompson and George L. Gill who wasn't playing at the time. Very light toning, Gill signed over the tear in the envelope, all the signatures bold, of a variety of sizes, clean and clearly legible. A great collection.
