Impressive collection of team signatures from the 1928 Detroit Tigers, signed on the back of a commemorative cover celebrating the inauguration of airmail service from Buffalo and Albany. Included are manager George J. Moriarity, coach Frank Shughnessy, coach Albert Peter "Lefty" Leifeld and trainer Jimmie Duggan (a Jim Duggan played a single game for the Browns in 1911, not sure if the same.) Also included Josh Billings (signed Haskell Billings) Ownie Carroll, Sam Gibson, Ken Holloway, George Smith, Vic Sorrell, Lil Stoner, Charlie Sullivan, Elam Vangilder, Earl Whitehall, Pinky Hargrave (signed W.M. Hargrave), Merv Shea, Larry Woodall, Chick Galloway (signed C. E. Galloway) Marty McManus, Bill Sweeney, Jack Tavener, Jack Warner, Paul Easterling, Harry Heilmann, Harry Rice, and Al Wingo (signed Red Wingo).
