Silent Screen Legend Harold Lloyd's Perfect Score Bowling Trophy, 1940. Millions know Harold Lloyd's career as one of the legendary stars of early cinema, but few may know just what an avid bowler he was carrying an average of around 195. So much so he was a partner in a bowling complex in LA called Llo-Da-Mar bowling lanes which operated for thirty years in Santa Monica, and now the original building has been re-purposed maintaining the sleek modern design. Lloyd used a specially drilled ball to accommodate a hand injury from a premature fireworks explosion during filming. His team the Llo-Da-Mar, bowling team competed nationally in the 1940s and proved quite formidable.

Offered a trophy given to Harold Lloyd for bowling a perfect score of 300 at the Los Angeles Examiner bowling tournament in 1940. Trophy stands 9" tall, gilded pot-metal cast bowler bolted onto plastic with plate description. Estimated Value $250 - 400
