Kennedy, John F. and Lyndon B. Johnson. 35th (1961-1963) and 36th (1963-1969) Presidents of the United States, respectively. JFK (1917-1963) and LBJ (1908-1973). From JFK, we offer a cut signature ("John F. Kennedy") on light stock, partial blind embossed seal, 1 x 3½". Signature executed in fountain pen. From LBJ, who as VP succeeded Kennedy on November 11, 1963, we offer a typed letter signed ("Lyndon B. Johnson"), as Senator from Texas, on "Office of the Democratic Leader" letterhead, 10 x 7½", Washington, D.C., August 2, 1960. A personal letter of thanks for a telegram sent by a Julian Bartolini of Maryland where Johnson assures he will do his best to prove worthy of the trust and responsibility put in him by the Democratic Party.
