Kubrick, Stanley (1928-1999) American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, editor, photographer and by every measure, one of the greatest filmmakers in film history. After his first film THE KILLING, he engaged in two collaborations with Kirk Douglas, PATHS OF GLORY and SPARTACUS. With a disdain for Hollywood, he moved to the UK and deliverd in the course of the remainder of his life one classic after another including Dr. STRANGELOVE, LOLITA, 2001:a space odyssey, A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, FULL METAL JACKET, BARRY LYNDON, and THE SHINING and with Steven Spielberg, A.I. Since his death, there have been celebrated museum exhibitions tours dedicated to his work and extensive archives, film festivals, and a legion of grat contemporary directors who have cited him as a singular influence. Offered is an 8" x 10" black and white still during the production of FULL METAL JACKET autographed by director Kubrick in black ball point pen. Quite scarce. Estimated Value $400 - 600
