Rare Signed Photos of Two Turn Of The Century Stage Legends, Sarah Bernhardt and R.B. Mantell. Sarah Bernhardt (1844 - 1923) "The Divine Sarah", French born stage actress and early silent film star. Her legendary talent as a dramatic actress and tragedienne, earned her the title by the global press "the most famous actress the world has ever known". Offered is an exceptionally scarce 9 x 6 sepia toned photo signed and dated "Sarah Bernhardt, 1911" with inscription in French, photo mounted on toned paper. R.B. Mantell, supremely accomplished early 20th, Shakesperan stage actor. Beautifully signed oversized photo 9½ x 12½" signed and dated 1912.
