Salvadore Dalí and Alberto Vargas Signatures. Two acclaimed and immensely popular artists of the 20th Century. First, the premiere surrealist of modern times, Salvador Dalí's works are without peer with regards to his command of imagery and technique. Dalí's experimented in film, theatrical set design and costumes, sculpture, animation, music, virtually any medium open to his unique vision. His later years were ravaged by health issues and senility, but his legacy endures. Offered is a hand signed portrait postcard, 5½ x 4½" executed in black felt tip pen which comes with a COA from RR Auctions a purchase from March, 2005. Also included in this lot is a signed page from Playboy Magazine of a "Vargas Girl" from the popular illustrator, Alberto Vargas, whose playful and sexy images of women continue to delight. Image has been trimmed to 10½ x 7" and is inscribed and signed in lower left "To my friend, John, Best wishes Alberto Vargas written in blue ball point pen. Both signatures in excellent condition.
