Very impressive collection of signed commemorative covers celebrating a variety of first flight and inaugural air mail services from a variety of cities, by President Herbert Hoover, Vice-President Charles Curtis and 12 members of his cabinet including Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon, Secretary of State Henry Stimson, Secretary of the Interior Ray Wilbur, Secretaries of War James J. Good, Patrick J. Hurley and Lester Maitland, Attorney General William Mitchell, Postmaster General Walter Brown, Secretary of Agriculture Arthur Hyde, Secretary of Labor James Davis, and Secretary of Commerce Robert Patterson. Also included is Dolly Gann, who was sister to Vice President Curtis and the first woman to effectively engage in a political fight at a National Convention. All are in superior condition boasting bold signatures, covers clean. Only Dolly Gann's cover exhibits toning, but her signature is extremely bold. Estimated Value $600 - 800
