1798/7 S-152 R2 Overdate Large 8 over 7 F12. Sharpness VF20 but covered with uniform microscopic granularity under rather glossy dark olive brown and steel toning. No verdigris, and the only mark is a tiny chip out of the rim over the R in LIBERTY. LDS. The wave in the field under the hair ribbon is strong. The date is strong, the overdate feature is obvious to the unaided eye, and the legends are clear. A decent example of this popular overdate variety. Estimated Value $300-UP
