1798 S-149 R4+ Large 8, Style I Hair G6. Sharpness VG10 but covered with fine to moderate roughness under slightly glossy dark olive brown and chocolate toning. No verdigris, and the only contact marks are a few very light rim bruises on the obverse, none notable. MDS, Breen state II, with a subtle bulge at S-OF-A. The date and legends are complete and strong except for strike weakness at ONE CENT. Estimated Value $300-UP
