1797 S-131 R2 Stemless Wreath VG7+. Glossy chocolate brown and steel. No roughness or verdigris, only minor contact marks. A minor rim bruise left of the date is the best identifying mark. M-LDS, Breen state IV, with a vertical die crack in the field before the portrait and a smaller sunken retained cud near the dentils right of the longer crack. The date and legends are strong and the Stemless Wreath feature is obvious. A nice lower grade example of a tough die state, close to VG8. Estimated Value $150-UP
