Lot 134

1796 S-104 R3 LIHERTY Obverse G5. A point or two sharper but covered with uniform very fine granularity under slightly glossy dark olive brown and steel toning. No verdigris, and the only marks are two small rim nicks before the neck and chin. EDS, before any obvious die rust or cracks. The date and LIHERTY are strong and the legends on the reverse are complete. The LIHERTY error is obvious to the unaided eye. Estimated Value $350-UP

Ex 1981 EAC Sale, 5/1981:105-the Rod Burress Collection.
