Spanish Philippines, 1854-1898. A collection of mainly Spanish Philippines issues 1854-1898, plus a selection of later American Administration and Japanese Occupation issues, all in one homemade album. The colonial period is nearly complete including many of the rarer issues, with only a handful of stamps missing; note catalog values to about $500. The colonial issues comprise 95% of the value. Very mixed condition, with numerous faults noted, including heavy cancels, fading, toning, thins, less than 4 margins etc, nevertheless quite useful for the unusually high degree of completion. Inspection strongly recommended.
