Cameo, Shell, With Female Bust of Delicate Beauty. Circa late 19th century. Italian shell cameo with similar mythological bust as in previous lot. The young lady features drapery over one shoulder and a wreath of roses and leaves crowning her head. In an American gold frame engraved with floral arabesques. Gold marked 10K on back. Back of cameo marked, "VIII"; the frame, "840." A large and lovely art object, in virtually pristine condition.
