[Spoons]. Two Antique New York Silver Commemorative Spoons. Two interesting petite spoons with elaborate pictorial handles. The first, from Lake George, proudly proclaims: "Sports and Pleasures of the Mountains" while displaying a rifle, the head of a buck and a leaping salmon, emphasizing the sentiment. The second spoon, a quaint piece of Americana, pictures Niagara Falls, illustrating a seated Indian in profile atop a globe and war club. Both pieces demi-tasse size. The Lake George spoon likely dates to the late 19th century, the companion likely dating to the early 20th century. A recommended, fun pair.
Estimated Value $100 - 150.
