Mexico. 1780s-1830s stampless letter group. Close to 100 letters almost all of which are complete. Several have straight line postal markings that include MEXICO in both black and red as well as one in box with curved sides, VERACRUZ, YRAPUATO (Irapuato today) and VALLADOLID. Strikes range from good to very good. Cintents have not been fully read but several appear to contain interesting content. Some staining here and there but most are in nice condition for period. From stock of a dealer who retired in 1950s. Interesting lot.
