Original WW II poster, "Keep Pitching with Both Hands, Brother", 40" x 28½", linen backed, U.S. Army Official Poster, ISD No. 206, U.S. Government Printing Office: 1944-O-619097, by Adolph Treidler. The striking poster features a recuperating, wounded and bandaged soldier, who has lost his hands in combat. Truly, a heart rendering and sympathetic recruitment poster; skillfully used to create an emotional connection to the war effort and generate more enlistments. Small white fleck in red robe collar. Rolled, unfold. Overall fine.
