Apulian. Gnathian Epichysis Oinochoe, ca. 350-300 BC. A Epichysis jug painted in the Gnathian style with in bands of white, yellow and crimson pigments, from the neck to top of the body; the motif on the body is commonly known as a xylophone. A relief of a lion-head protrudes out on each side of spout. Perfectly intact. 10.5 cm L X 18 cm H
