Apulian. Red-Figure Lidded-Lukanis, ca. 430-300 BC. A complete two piece Lukanis. Lid: Eros on both sides holding a mirror and fan, or bag(?). Bottom: Repair to one handle, some metallic iridescent sheen. Expert repair to bottom with 3 long cracks and reattachment of the foot. Upper portion is intact and superbly painted. With no restoration. Measures: 20.5 X 27 cm.
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,500.
