Chagall, Marc. Le Roi David à la Lyre. Signed and Numbered Lithograph 30/50 Marc Chagall (1887-1985) proved one of the great artists of the 20th Century whose poetic, figurative style made him one of the most popular modern artists in the world having flirted with many radical styles at various points throughout his life including Cubism, Fauvism, Suprematism and Surrealism. Chagall created works in virtually every artistic medium, including painting, book illustrations, stained glass, stage sets, ceramic, tapestries and fine art prints. Offered is a signed limited edition lithograph issued in 1979 measuring 13¾" x 10¾" printed on Japon Nacre paper with full margins, framed and matted magnificently to 36" x 32" in gilt wood frame.
Printed and published by Maeght, Paris. A very good impression with strong colors.
