14 Stunning Double-Weight Signed Portraits Including Claudette Colbert, Betty Hutton, Joan Crawford, Claire Trevor. Superb collection of vintage original, double-weight, mostly 8" x 10" autographed photos by legends of Hollywood's Golden Age. First up are the 8 sepia toned portraits which include a beautiful Merle Oberon, a sassy Betty Grable (trimmed to 9" x 6½") boldly signed and inscribed in red ink fountain pen, a glamorous Claire Trevor, Anne Sothern, a wonderful Lauren Bacall inscribed to a set hair dresser, Irene Dunne signed (JSA graded) boldly across a publicity still for her great film, THE AWFUL TRUTH, dated 1937, June Allyson and a rare hand color tinted Dorothy Gish (sister of Lillian) signed in 1919 as noted on verso. The black and white photos include a lovely Alice Faye, Anne Baxter, Joan Crawford from her Pepsi CEO days, Claudette Colbert from the What Becomes A Legend Most Campaign, Eve Arden, and a Clarence Sinclair Bull vintage portrait of Muriel Evans, an early Western film star.
