Rare early Signed photo, 7¾ x 9¾", black & white, glossy, n.p. September 14, 1933. Ava Studio portrait of a young and handsome Armstrong holding his trumpet and signature hanky. Inscribed on the upper right light margin: "My Best Wishes / To Nell Clarke / From / Louis Armstrong / 14/9/33". Beautifully matted and framed to an overall size of 15½ x 12½". Exceptional. A fabulous signed photo of a very young Louis Armstrong.
