Vintage French Foreign Legion Uniform. 1953 issue French Foreign Legion uniform, Ariel Angers, made in France, cotton, khaki/green, short sleeve jacket with six silver "Legion Etrangére" buttons, 4 pockets and a pair of long pants. The lot includes a lovely vintage, Draoo Paris, 3-color enameled Legion badge, pined to a leather button hanger; a pair of Etrangére navy epaulettes embroidered in green with 3 rank chevrons; a pair of plain black epaulettes with one white stripe; and a tan leather belt with body harness gun holster. Also included is a white cotton, flat top, long neck flap cap, with a black patent visor and strap and Legion buttons. This uniform was one of several styles issued during the Indochina War by the French Foreign Legion. Fine.
