Collection of French Infantry, Troop and Marine Badges, Brevets & Medals 1940s-Present. Alexander White III enjoyed a passion for collecting a wide variety of French Militaria. Offered is his collection of badges, brevets, regimental pins medals, embroidered patches and more spanning from the 1940s to present day. Over 225 metal and enameled pieces, over 20 patches, displayed in five riker mounts and a small five-drawer display chest. Spanning decades, the collection contains pieces from the French Foreign Legion, paratrooper divisions, and regimental troop and light infantry badges many recognizing engagement in countries as Morocco, Indochina, Algeria, Chad, Central Africa and more. Also noted, a few pieces including the US relating to The Gulf War. A nice collection representing years to build. Collection can be sent without chest (no value) to minimize shipping charges, a consideration especially for those overseas.
