The French material features items of Louis Philippé II, Duke of Orleans, Marie Therese, daughter of Louis XVI, Donatien-Marie-Joseph de Vimeur, vicomte de Rochambeau, Marshal Philippe Pétain, Marshal Ferdinand Foch and Raymond Poincaré; The English items include engravings of King Egbert and King Alfred the Great, a map of the Plan of the Battle fought near Camden on August 16, 1780, a document of returned British Troops, and a General Garnet Wolseley signature; The early American items include an Edward Carrington expense letter to President George Washington, October 18, 1793, engraving of Major General Nathanael Greene, Richard Varick signed document, Henry Knox autographed letter and a battle map of Allied Initiative in the War in North Africa. Overall this impressive historical collection is in very good condition.
