1969 Apollo 11 Command Module thermal coating. Four (4) 1" square samples of the Apollo 11 Kapton foil CM thermal coating. The gold side of the foil has been affixed to Plexiglas square in preparation for presentation. The reverse side (silver color) is exposed. The samples were destined for a more formal presentation, but are very interesting in their current form. Incudes COA from consignor that reads in part: "This Kapton foil is from Apollo Command Module, 'Columbia'…This foil was given to me in 1969…." Great way to create your own presentation pieces and be able to touch the outer surface of Apollo 11 Command Module.
