Lot 98

1854 C-1 R1+ Counterstamped J. BRAMBLE VF30. Glossy medium chocolate brown. No defects (other than the effects of the stamp itself, which was deeply impressed on the obverse). The stamp is in a uniform arc with a 6-pointed star below. This is Brunk B-1051, and he suggests it is from a Philadelphia innkeeper who operated there in the 1850's.
Estimated Value $30-UP.
Ex John Sullivan (Cameo Coins) 11/17/2004-John Koebert.

Realized $59
