Lot 951

1927-S. PCGS graded MS-65. An amazing well struck gem with gorgeous steel blue and iridescent toning mostly on the obverse. A phenomenal coin worthy of a premium bid. This one is right there with the finest seen, only a few dozen gems exist as thee is likely duplication in the Population numbers. This is one of the key dates to find at this grade level of the series, and while not quite as tough as the 1926-S, certainly bears much resemblence to that rarity. A prize for the collector who demands quality, eye appeal and rarity! Pop 30; 3 finer, 2 in 65+, 1 in 66 (PCGS # 3962) .
Estimated Value $7,000 - 8,000.

Realized $11,750
