Lot 941

1918-S. PCGS graded MS-64+. A beauty. Superb mark free surfaces and certainly looks like a full blown gem example. The lustrous surfaces exhibit steel blue, violet, and golden highlights that further add to its appeal. A condition rarity even at this level, and downright desirable for its elegant surfaces and strike. The fields and devices are satin smooth and show no interruptions from scuffs and bagmarks of any consequence. Far and away finer than most encountered and a challenging issue to find even close to this grade level. Pop 6; 37 finer (PCGS # 3940) .
Estimated Value $4,500 - 5,000.
